A thread lift is a treatment in which temporary sutures are used to raise the skin in a slight but noticeable way. Rather than physically removing the patient’s loose facial skin, the cosmetic surgeon simply stitches up areas of it. This has the effect of slightly drawing the skin back, lifting and tightening the face.
